She wrote songs for Quebecois musicians and her lyrics for Laura Rose have been translated by Gilles Vigneault. As her children grew up, she collaborated with high school English departments in Toronto and Miami, publishing two anthologies of teenaged writings: Jewish Teens of the 90’s (with co-producer Andrea Sugar) and The Ceremony of the Bat Mitzvah. Her current projects include a book about the year Anna, her husband and their four children ‘dropped out’, home-schooled and travelled the world. For the last two years, Anna has focused on writing scripts for theatre and was a contributing playwright to the Montreal show Picturesque: Voices from Beaver Hall, produced at McGill University in November 2015 and at Dawson College Dome Theatre in October, 2018. She has most recently finished the script for Waiting Time, the story of two sisters’ long winter together at a decisive point in both their lives.
